Dental Implants

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root replacement and is used in prosthetic dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth. Implants consists of 3 parts – a special crown, a post and an anchor bridges or dentures.

Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening is a process that lightens the color of a tooth. This may be accomplished by physical removal of the stain or a chemical reaction to lighten the tooth color also called bleaching. Bleaching is defined here as the chemical degradation of the chromogens.

Veneers

Veneers are very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color). They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautiful and attractive smile. Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile.

Children Dentistry

It’s important for children to establish dental visits early. It’s even more important to bring them to a dentist who specializes in children’s dental care. At All Smiles Dental Practice, understanding your child’s behavior and needs is our top priority.

Crowns

A crown, sometimes known as dental cap, is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are often needed when a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth. They are typically bonded to the tooth using a dental cement

Bridges

A dental bridge is a false tooth (called a pontic) that is held in place by the abutment teeth on either side of the gap. Although pontics can be made from a variety of materials such as gold, typically they’re made from porcelain to aesthetically blend in with your natural teeth.

Orthodontic Treatment

Orthodontic treatment is a way of straightening or moving teeth, to improve the appearance of the teeth and how they work. It can also help to look after the long-term health of your teeth, gums and jaw joints, by spreading the biting pressure over all your teeth.

Sealants

Sealants are thin, plastic coatings painted on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. Sealants are painted on as a liquid and quickly harden to form a shield over the tooth. They need to be checked at regular dental check-ups to make sure they are not chipped or worn away.
